Hosting sessions

Everything to do with sessions is managed through what we call the session panel, which can be accessed through the /session-panel command if you’re a workspace employee. Once the command is executed, you can select the session type from the dropdown menu, which will open the session portal. This portal is how you control your session, and will be deleted once your session conclude. Keep in mind that it isn’t ephemeral, so anyone can interact with it; however, all interactions are logged.
Session types can be configured through the /session-config command. You cannot delete session types on your own; please contact our support team.

Controlling sessions

Once your portal has been created, you should prepare yourself for the session before selecting Start Session, which announces the session’s commencement and sends a log to workspace administrators. Once you’re ready to conclude your session, you should tap on the blue Log Attendance button, which will open up a panel. Type in the server nicknames of everyone who attended - the system will automatically identify their Kyro accounts and link the session to their profile. When logging, don’t include yourself, as you (the host) are automatically logged. Only select End Session once you’re ready to end your session. This deletes the announcement, disables the one-time session portal, and sends a log to workspace administrators. Once the session has ended, there is no going back.

Viewing statistics

Employees can view their session statistics for the week by using the /activity command, while administrators can use the sessions option on the profile system or the /check and /check-quota command. Session statistics will also be included in the weekly activity overview, which is sent when the week is reset by /reset-week. You can learn more about this (quota periods) in the tracking module documentation.
