This feature is disabled. A new, automated system will replace this in an upcoming update.
Request Submission
To request a background check, use the /background-check command and confirm the details in the confirmation prompt. Once submitted, our system will complete the background check automatically; this can take anywhere from a few seconds to multiple minutes, depending on the intensity of the search. At the moment, this system is purely systematic, which improves our accuracy and precision. However, in the future, we’ll be incorporating artificial intelligence to deepen the searches beyond systematic capabilities. Obviously, as AI can be inaccurate, we’ll let you know when a search was artificially influenced and provide an option to submit a non-AI search.
Behind The Scenes
Our background checks are extensive, thorough searches which scan public resources, internal databases, and account information. The exact workflow behind our background checks remain confidential to prevent users being able to figure out what is causing them to be flagged by the system, and consequently removing it. If you’re interested in learning more about our background check process, feel free to reach out to our team.
Resource Usage
Due to the depth of the searches, background checks take up a lot of resources. To prevent our servers becoming overloaded, we’ve restricted this service to workspace with a Pro license only. Additionally, we limit each workspace, regardless of their plan, to 30 background checks per day; once you reach 0, the feature will be locked for your workspace until a full 24 hour cycle has passed. Whitelabel workspaces are given a custom limitation, usually around 500/day.
